Break and Enter
Based on the first novel of best-selling author Colin Harrison (Bodies Electric, Manhattan Nocturne, Afterburn), "Break and Enter" tells the story of a young Philadelphia District Attorney, PETER SCATTERGOOD, who is about to win a court case which will put his feet firmly on the golden ladder to the top. What he doesn't know is that his wife is on the point of leaving him and that he is going to be handed a no-win murder investigation which could break his brilliant career before it even gets started.
Within days, Scattergood faces a broken marriage, the brutal murder of the black mayor's nephew, and an explosive affair with a woman of extraordinary sexual appetites. At the crescendo of "Break & Enter," the politics of crime and a crime of passion put Scattergood to the ultimate test - a test of ethics and social values, a test of what it means to be a man, and a test of love itself.
"Break and Enter" was written for the screen by award-winning writer/director Jeremy Carver ("One Hundred," "Live Long - Drink Juice"). Attached to produce "Break and Enter" is Academy Award Winning producer,
Tamara Tiehel.
